Also known as: Dracaena Angolensis, Spear Sansevieria, Lança De São Jorge
Native to Angola in Southern Africa

Dracaena angolensis is a succulent plant with distinctive cylindrical, striped greenish-gray leaves that grow up to 3 cm (1 in) in diameter and 2 m (7 ft) tall. Its leaves emerge in a fan-shaped arrangement from a basal rosette, retaining a subcylindrical shape due to a genetic trait that prevents dorsoventral leaf differentiation. The plant produces 3 cm (1 in) tubular greenish-white flowers tinged with pink. Its architectural form and drought tolerance make it a striking ornamental specimen.
