Kalanchoe manginii is an evergreen succulent perennial native to Madagascar, growing up to 30 cm (12 in) tall and wide. It features arching branches with rounded, glossy leaves that are 1-3 cm long and 0.6-1.5 cm wide, characterized by blunt tips and entire or slightly notched edges. The plant produces urn-shaped salmon-red to bright red flowers on hanging stalks in loose panicles during spring, with flowering shoots becoming bare while non-flowering shoots retain downy hairs and glands. Its woody, prostrate stems form clustered growths with upright tips, creating a distinctive cascading appearance.
