Kalanchoe daigremontiana is a succulent plant growing up to 1m (3.3ft) tall with fleshy, oblong-lanceolate leaves up to 20cm (8in) long. Leaves are green with purple blotches underneath and produce spoon-shaped plantlets along their margins. It develops lateral roots high on its main stalk and bends downward as upper leaves grow large. Notable for vegetative propagation through leaf margin plantlets and toxic daigremontianin content in all parts.
